Machine cut and tumbled natural stone and marble cuboids. This size makes them wonderfully versatile without requiring cutting. They may be used in traditional Romanesque mosaics or given a modern twist by combining them with glass or ceramic tesserae. If you do want to cut them, consider using a hammer and hardie or a geared porcelain tile cutter. As stones vary in hardness, some are slightly softer and may become more rounded during tumbling. To bring out the full beauty and colour of this product, please seal with a stone or marble sealant. The 7mm thickness means they align perfectly with smalti when placed on their sides.
