This is the famous, much sought after Mexican Smalti by Perdomo. It is hard to come by as it is an authentic, artisanal product from Cuernavaca, Mexico with no website, sample cards or easy access. Perdomo specializes in the making of mosaic murals so their focus is in the production of custom colours not a standard range. As a handmade product variations in colour is normal. The unique quality about Mexican smalti is that the front and back are slightly different colors. One side of the smalti is glossy while the other side has texture and variation of colors. This brings a natural, 'living' effect to the tesserae.
